Hi all, Andrea and I are still in Brasov, Romania and each day is a new adventure. Our time is spent helping those displaced here in physical, emotional and spiritual ways; helping others to evacuate from Ukraine; and bringing aid to those who are still in danger.
I was supposed to take an SUV full of cargo to the border today but our pastor George, and others still in Odessa, have asked that I put it off for a week. From now until May 9, Odessa and the surrounding region is at a higher risk than normal. Russia celebrates "Victory Day" on May 9th (victory over Nazi Germany in WWII) and it is rumored that Putin will try to cause horrific destruction in Ukraine prior to this celebration.
Our churches have called for fasting and prayer on behalf of those in Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, and places like Kharkiv and Mariupol, etc., who are experiencing gruesome and ungodly acts of terror at the hands of Russian soldiers. Many of you have asked about ways to help - thank you!
We appreciate your continued prayers! You can also still give to:
The Ukraine Crisis Fund at https://MTW.org.
Andrea has begun a fund of her own to help dear friends of ours struggling in Ukraine. https://fundly.com/babies-elderly-and-a-dancing-grandma-in-ukraine
I encourage you to check it out and give, if you're able, to either fund. Even if it's just a little, that amounts to a lot, when many are giving. And if you're inclined, please repost. Thank you, we appreciate you all, and to God be the glory.
