‍Allison Dod and Savannah Silva invite you to study Proverbs this Fall and Winter using the book The Way of Wisdom by Jen Wilkin, Ruth Chou Simons, et. al. We’ll meet every other Monday night from 7:00–8:30 p.m. Please order a copy of the book and plan to join us! The study will kick off with a potluck dinner on August 17 at Allison Dod’s home. Life has suffering and can feel hopeless, but the Bible speaks words of comfort and hope in Christ. CCC encourages membership in the local church, believing that God has designed the church as the primary means of godly counsel (through small groups, friends, and elders). Yet, at times, because of the time needed, the training required, or for those not connected to a local church, it is necessary to reach beyond the church community for help. CCC supports Hope Counseling Services, which seeks to bring Hope to Life through Jesus Christ, as a strategic ministry partner. If God so leads, you may help support the work of HCS during our alms offering this month by giving online here or make checks out to CCC with “Alms: HCS” in the memo.
