WHAT TO EXPECT

MERCY MINISTRIES

We partner with local mercy ministries and non-profits such as PSS,  Samaritan Health Center, and Hope Counseling Services. Because we do not own a building, our mercy efforts tend to be the result of our members engaging directly with one of these strategic partners or by serving according to their callings in our local community.

PARTNERS

HOPE COUNSELING SERVICES exists to create safe places in Chapel Hill and the surrounding area where people of all ages and stages of life can speak honestly about their struggles, encounter the living Redeemer, and find the hope and lasting change He alone provides through Christ-centered, biblically based counseling and training. HCS and Christ Community Church have shared a close working relationship since its founding.

PREGNANCY SUPPORT SERVICES OF DURHAM AND CHAPEL HILL
is a Christian non-profit offering help and hope to anyone considering their choices in unplanned pregnancies and to youth navigating their choices in developing healthy relationships. Staff and volunteer client advocates offer free and confidential services including pregnancy testing, limited first trimester ultrasounds, education on carrying to term to parent and the adoption process, one-on-one mentoring, post-abortion support, and healthy relationship education in the center and local communities. Several in our church have served or continue to serve in leadership and supporting roles at PSS.

SAMARITAN HEALTH CENTER provides comprehensive medical care to underserved members of our community, regardless of their ability to pay. Through donated talent and resources, the goal is to help eliminate our community's health disparities by providing accessible, holistic health for physical, social, emotional, and spiritual issues that affect health. Several in the CCC family are current or former participants in the work of SHC.

GENEVA BENEFITS (FORMERLY PCA MINISTERIAL RELIEF)
Many PCA Teaching Elders and their wives served in small churches and have been unable to save adequately for retirement. Some former pastors or their widows now find themselves unable to pay for basic living and medical expenses. The PCA Ministerial Relief fund helps to meet these needs as well as providing disability supplements, emergency assistance, and counseling.
