WHAT TO EXPECT

YOUTH MINISTRY

In Scripture, Paul tells Timothy, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12). Raising godly, exemplary youth is no easy task, requiring the concerted efforts of both family and church. To that end, we strive to come alongside parents, partnering with them to help their children grow in Christ. We do this by offering sound biblical teaching, opportunities for Christian service, discipleship, and leadership, and fellowship within a community of believers.

OUR YOUTH MINISTRY PRINCIPLES

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School is an essential part of our youth ministry. Bible-rich Sunday School classes, combined with a dedicated youth team to build strong relationships with our teens, enable us to support and help families grow in the love of God. Our Sunday School classes are small (youth are far more willing to answer questions or talk about themselves in a group of ~6-8), relational (we have multiple teachers for each class), and utilize theologically rigorous curriculum.

YOUTH GROUP

Fellowship with other believers is an important aspect of any Christian’s life. In order to help youth develop relationships with one another, we want to create opportunities to grow, learn, have fun, and serve together.
