At Christ Community Church, we believe the Bible clearly teaches the importance of church membership. Church membership is the formal admission of a believer in Jesus Christ into the visible church. In Scripture the church is called the Bride of Christ (Eph 5:21-33), the People of God (2 Cor 6:16), and the Flock of God (John 10:1-13). Amazingly, the Apostle Paul says that “God placed all things under [Jesus’] feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way” (Eph 1:22).
