Fellowship with other believers is an important aspect of any Christian’s life. In order to help youth develop relationships with one another, we want to creat opportunities to grow, learn, have fun, and serve together. We have three distinct, but related, types of events that we schedule regularly: Youth Group, CrossTalk, and special events.
Weekly Youth Group
On Sunday evenings, we hold a youth group meeting from 6:30-7:45pm! Youth Group brings the high schoolers and middle schoolers together to study Scripture, play games, talk through life, and encourage each other. This time usually includes a message from the Youth Director and a small group discussions among the middle and high schoolers. CCC Youth Leaders lead small group discussions and games as they friendships with the students.
Youth Group meets weekly from 6:15-7:45pm. We meet at downstairs at Extraordinary Ventures (200 S. Elliott Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517) each of the first three Sundays of the month. On the third Sunday of the month, Youth Group has a Middle School Night! On MSNight, we have special games, snacks, and a lesson targeted at 6th-8th graders. On the fourth Sunday, Youth Group is held at the home of a host family. This fall, we studied the Gospel of Mark, and we will announce our spring topic soon! For more details on upcoming meetings, please go to the Youth News link to your left, or contact Stephen Estes at email@example.com.
Looking for honest and genuine conversations with people your age? Do you want to grow as a leader? Is there a question about faith and life that is on your mind?
CrossTalk is an opportunity for you to sit across the table from youth your age to talk about the realities of life and to help each other connect these realities to truth. Come grow as a leader, while we learn to ask tough questions and realize where your life’s purpose lies.
Middle School – Contact Stephen Estes at firstname.lastname@example.org.
High School – Southpoint Mall’s food court on Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:30pm.
Throughout the year we offer special fun events for all of our youth in grades 6-12. A sampling of past activities has included a trip to Frankie's, Beach Blast (our annual fall retreat), and an Operation Christmas Child party . Because these events vary, please check the Youth News link to the left for the latest updates.
