“Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.” 1 Thessalonians 2:8
Our Women's Ministry is simply and profoundly women encouraging women. Our mission is to glorify God by helping women connect the riches of Christ to the realities of our lives. As we serve a faithful God, we rejoice with one another. When we face trials and temptations, we stand with one another. As we have opportunity, we perform deeds of mercy with one another. We believe that the Gospel will shine forth brightly as we seek to know and love one another in Christ.

DELIGHT is one way in which the CCC Women’s Ministry seeks to make 1 Thessalonians 2:8 a reality. We’ve designed DELIGHT to foster “life-on-life” experiences for women, giving them opportunities to interact and share gifts, stories, and interests. Our hope is that these events will help us know each other better, serve our community, and welcome new people into our church family. DELIGHT events are open to women of all ages and stages! So please plan to come and bring a friend.
Save the Date!

Pregnancy Support Services Partnership
As part of our mercy ministry, the women of Christ Community Church have developed a partnership with Pregnancy Support Services of Chapel Hill and Durham.
What is Pregnancy Support Services?
Pregnancy Support Services is a pregnancy care ministry serving Durham and Chapel Hill. It is an interdenominational Christian ministry and receives no public funds of any kind. The ministry is entirely dependent on local individuals and churches for their resources. All services offered by PSS are provided free of charge to anyone needing these services. PSS provides pregnancy tests, limited ultrasound services, peer counseling, parenting education workshops, post- abortion support, college campus outreach and sexual integrity presentations in the Durham/Chapel Hill area. In addition, they provide practical support in the form of layette items, baby equipment and maternity clothing for pregnant clients. Each client also receives informative brochures, pamphlets, books and/or Bibles as needed.
How can I help?
A “Baby Bottle Blessings” campaign to benefit Pregnancy Support Services will be held from September 7, 2014 until September 28, 2014. Each family will have the opportunity to pick up a baby bottle at the back of the church, take it home and fill it with silver change. Bills or checks are fine, too! Your gifts help make this important ministry possible.
For more information on how you can help, please contact Kathryn Eriksen.
Counseling and Mentoring
The CCC Women’s Ministry often bridges the gap for women in the church, connecting them to people and resources when needed. In the past, the Women’s Ministry and Counseling Ministry have teamed up to offer topic-specific studies like “Sex: Redeemed” to see what the Bible has to say for those women struggling with sexual sin and/or past sexual trauma. If you have ideas for ways the Women’s Ministry Team can help connect the riches of Christ to the realities of life for women in our church, let us know. Contact Bobbie Gervais or Gretchen Logterman with comments and questions or if you need a counseling or mentoring referral within CCC.
