Community Groups
Humans were made to be in relationship with God and with one another. At Christ Community Church (CCC), we seek to build communities that are transformed by the Bible by meeting together regularly in what we call community groups. Community groups are one of our strongest priorities at CCC. People need to join together in reading the Bible, praying together and committing to help each other bear life's burdens. While this occurs in many ways in the lives of people who go to our church, it is most emphasized and experienced in these personal and relational groups.
For the visitor, we encourage asking about an outreach group to learn more about Jesus, the Bible and our church. We offer groups that provide exploration into the essential teachings of Christianity.
For the person who is a follower of Jesus and is a member at CCC, we believe community groups are essential in learning how to live as Jesus lives and love as he loves. We reach towards this goal by committing to meeting together regularly to pray and study the Bible as well as share in each others' lives. As stated in our values, a community interpreting all of life through the lens of the Bible will know how to apply the wisdom of God to life’s joys, challenges and sorrows in honest, encouraging and committed relationships together.
