College Students

As a community church planted in Chapel Hill, we are strategically located to serve college students. Our focus is to love, encourage and provide a real sense of belonging to any college student who chooses to visit Christ Community Church (CCC). For those wanting to visit and need a ride, a van comes to the North Campus ATMs at UNC and picks up students at 10:30 am every Sunday during the fall and spring semester. Please contact Brenda Ellison for more information.

Loving

Members at CCC connect with students by praying for them, encouraging them, and, of course, feeding them. Volunteering families provide monthly lunches in their homes on Sunday afternoons so that we can grow friendships with our college students.

Encouraging

Whether working in the nursery, teaching a youth Sunday School class, joining a community group, playing an instrument or singing with the worship team, or becoming a College Ministry Team member, we encourage students to use their gifts and talents for the glory of God.

Belonging

We invite college students to join us in the adult Sunday School class, make friends with families and talk with church members about the tough questions surrounding Jesus and the Christian faith. For students who do believe in Jesus, we invite them to join as associate members while retaining their home church membership, so they can receive pastoral care while they are at school.
