Church Membership

At Christ Community Church, we believe the Bible clearly teaches the importance of church membership.  Church membership is the formal admission of a believer in Jesus Christ into the visible church.  In Scripture the church is called the Bride of Christ (Ephesians 5:21-33), the People of God (2 Corinthians 6:16), and the Flock of God (John 10:1-13).  Amazingly, the Apostle Paul says that “God placed all things under [Jesus’] feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way” (Ephesians 1:22). 

For those wishing to join Christ Community Church, we periodically offer a “Prospective Members Class.”  This five-week class allows inquirers to explore “What is a Christian?”; “What is the Church?”; “What is the Presbyterian Church in America?”; and “What is Christ Community Church?”  Our Prospective Members Packet is designed for self-guided study through the course material.
